Although he’s never blamed Jennifer Lopez directly, Ben Affleck has admitted in the past that the high-profile nature of their relationship was very detrimental to his career.
Now, happily married to wife Jennifer Garner with two kids, Affleck is again discussing the time in his life when he was one half of the entity formerly known as Bennifer. “I got lost. I felt suffocated, miserable and gross. I should never have gone down that route or got sucked in to all the publicity,” Ben confesses.
And that’s when his career took a hit. “I was typecast as myself. Too many people weren’t getting past what they read about me. That was damaging.” Know what isn’t damaging? How cute he looks sitting at a poker table.

Ben Affleck was a hot mess on a downward spiral long before he met Jennifer Lopez. He was a publicity whore, and he loved every minutes. He invited Dateline into his home, and pointed out th paparrazi to Jennifer on camera.

Interestingly their relationship did not seem to hurt Jennifer Lopez…….just the opposite. He is just pouting and blaming his relationship with Lopez to have an excuse for his lack of a career.
