They are the wind beneath each other’s wings! Rapper 50 Cent and songstress Bette Midler have teamed up to combine the efforts of their philanthropic organizations to cultivate a community garden in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens, New York.
This is a mash-up of Bette’s New York Restoration and Fiddy’s G Unit Foundation. Midler sang the praises of the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ star: “He stepped up to the plate to fund this project. And when it ended up costing $100,00 more than we anticipated, he didn’t bat an eyelid. He wrote the check!”
When you think about it, this was a mash-up that was inevitable.

aww how adorable is that?
that used to be a very negative park in the 80′s crack era and now 50 turned it into something positive and beautiful for the kids.
