Don’t expect any harsh criticism to come out of the mouth of X-Factor creator and judge Simon Cowell when Britney Spears comes to the reality talent competition show to perform new songs from her upcoming album Circus.

“I’m really excited about it, because she has got her act together and the new record is terrific,” Cowell said of the prospect of Spears hitting the X-Factor stage.

As for Britney’s personal life, she hit up Drew Barrymore‘s Halloween party in the Hollywood Hills over the weekend. She hid behind her witch hat from her costume to avoid photographers, accompanied by her cousin Laura Lynn Covington.
