OH MY GOD, that ‘put a ring on it’ was the most ass-tastic (in more ways than one) and annoying video I’ve seen in a long time. That song is incredibly irritating and repetitive, ugh. Nice plug for her crappy clothing line mid-song too.

Although it’s not my usual chosen genre of music, I do kinda like the “if I were a boy” song, but I do not like Beyonce’s version of it. It’s overdone and too dramatic and doesn’t feel real. The original writer is a singer as well and her version is more toned down and doesn’t come with a cheesy-ass video. Okay, she was fine in the Austin Powers movie, but that was supposed to be bad & campy – does she really think she can act and that all things filmed need to be that cheesy and over-emoted?
