The master of Beyonce‘s new album was due to her record label today, and it looks like Jay-Z’s wifey isn’t going to make her deadline.
“It’s not going to be completed,” a source says. “She’s got to get it out early in the fourth
quarter, when there’s so much competition among artists.”
Beyonce has reportedly been focusing more on the big screen in recent months, having completed roles in Cadillac Records (as jazz singer Etta James) and a psychological thriller called Obsessed. Which sounds bad just from the title. That’s a Lifetime Movie Network situation. Just call it Mother, May I Sleep With Danger? 2 and cut your losses, Beyaki.
Other reasons why the album is late might have to do with Justin Timberlake and Beyonce acting all perfectionist over a duet (oh, we’ll be hearing that one for the next century) and the fact that Beyonce hates her Dad’s record company guy – Max Gousse.
Hey if anything on that shitty album inspires a drag queen parody as hot as this one, then it’s worth the wait.
