The project is still on hold at the moment, but Beyonce Knowles has said that she is hoping to get the chance to slip into the slinky one-piece first made famous by the original Catwoman herself. When she was prompted to say what she planned to do for her next on-screen role, the pop star answered, “I was going to do a film about Eartha Kitt. It’s a great story.”
In fact, Knowles is so keen to be a part of the movie that she would rearrange her hectic schedule to accommodate for production, should it get the green light.
That should be some interesting casting. Granted, we know that B can fill out a catsuit no problem, but the late, great Eartha‘s shoes would definitely be a bit harder to fill. She better start practice purring.

Beyonce is becoming more annoying each day. She thinks that she can excel in everything and she can’t. Somebody in her camp needs to sit her down and be truthful with her. The girl can’t act to save her life. She is an insult to seasoned and trained actresses who have the passion and acting skills to pull this off. But let her selfish spoiled azz do this movie so that just like her last movie, the critics can tear her apart.
Bottom line – Eartha Kitt deserves more respect than this.

Rumors are that a fresh new talent name Brandy Maddox has been commissioned to do this role. She favors Eartha alot and she has a beautiful sound. Ironically she is from Eartha’s hometown. Brandy Maddox sings under the name Gypsy Purl. A good friend of mine who is a film exec introduced me to her work. I think Gypsy Purl would be an execellent pick.
I could not imagine Beyounce playing Eartha Kitt. I think it’s time to face the fact that Beyonce can’t act. She is a damn good singer but her acting abilities suck.
I was so honored to personally know Eartha and I agree Ms. Kitt would turn over in her grave if she knew Beyonce was portraying her. Eartha Kitt did not grow up a super star. She had to work very hard to pave her way in Hollywood. She overcome alot of abuse and there is just to much depth in her character. Beyounce needs to step away from this one.
