While Katie’s Holmes‘ husband Tom Cruise is busy shooting his new movie, Rock of Ages, Katie and Suri Cruise made a trip to the beach Saturday evening (June 18).

Katie, in a burgundy bikini and hot pink shirts and Suri in a princess dress and blue sunglasses, walked out to the beach around 6 p.m.
Katie then stripped down to a bikini top and headed out to the ocean with a slightly nervous Suri. Mother and daughter spent out 30 minutes playing in the waves and looked as if they were having a blast.

As for Katie and Suri Cruise’s Father’s Day plans for Tom, Katie has a bunch of surprises lined up for him, “I think there’s so much: clothes, books, drawings,” Holmes admitted.
