Amy Winehouse‘s fine and upstanding young husband Blake Fielder-Civil has reportedly failed a drug test in rehab and is being sent back to jail. Not exactly shocking news, but the interesting part is that he somehow made it out of his rehab facility and hightailed it to the hospital Winehouse is in to give her the good news. Security! We’ve got a runner!
“He turned up in hospital and hell broke
loose — everyone was totally shocked. He was asking Amy to forgive him. As he was going back inside anyway he felt
he didn’t have much to lose,” a source said.
Winehouse has been in the hospital since having one of those terrible “reactions to medication” (i.e. drug-induced seizure), so her junkie husband busting out of his locked rehab to pay her a visit must have been sweeter than a balloon from the gift shop. Winehouse is reportedly consulting divorce lawyers about ending things with her hubby, who was supposed to serve the rest of a 27 month jail sentence in rehab. So much for that.
Fielder-Civil will now reportedly not see release until 2010. It’s ok. they have really good drugs in prison. Here he is at an appeal hearing in London on Nov. 24
