Brad and Angie Not Getting Married

December 11th, 2006 // Leave a Comment

Brad and Angie claim reports that they’re getting married on Christmas are wrong, according to US Weekly.

Brad Pitt’s rep denied late Friday that the actor is planning to wed Angelina Jolie in Johannesburg. “It’s all made up,” the rep told Us Weekly.

A tabloid reported this week that the couple would wed in South Africa in a simple and elegant ceremony with African music. Guests attending, according to the report, included Oprah Winfrey. “Oprah would not be invited to their wedding. They are not that close,” a source close to the couple says.

Pitt, 42, and Jolie, 31, have three children, six-month-old Shiloh Nouvel, Maddox, 4, and Zahara, 1. The couple is currently in New York to promote her new movie, The Good Shepherd; they have been together since early 2005.

In the October issue of Esquire, Pitt said that he had no plan to marry Jolie until “everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able.”

Thanks for throwing us the bone, Brad.

I’m more concerned that Oprah wouldn’t be invited. This makes two snubs from the two most famous couples in the world. Oprah is going to be on the warpath. Gayle is drafting a declaration of war right now. And Steadman…..is with the woman he actually sleeps with and hoping this doesn’t mean he has to make more appearances for fake “I’m With Oprah” photo opportunities again.
