We showed you images from the “A Mighty Heart” photocall earlier, and know we have the red carpet premiere photos. Mariane Pearl was at the film’s premiere as she was at the film’s press conference, which had one tense moment.
The usual sorts of questions were asked of Pitt and Jolie; some to do with acting and producing or their feelings about the film and of course the inevitable “What do you think of Cannes?” (Pitt said, “It doesn’t feel much different because we usually have a camera following us every day”), but no one was prepared when a Bloomberg TV journalist took the microphone.
“Hi, Mariane,” he said, to which she replied with a nod. “We meet again,” he added before going on to explain that he was in fact the reporter represented in the film who asks a controversial question. “What is in the film isn’t exactly what I said and I wish someone more handsome could have played me, like Brad. But, I wanted to ask you Mariane, would you forgive me?”
A hush fell over the room before Pearl said, “I accept your apology.”
The question had been, “Did you watch the tape (of her husband’s beheading)?”
I’d be asking for forgiveness too.

So heartbreaking, I couldnt even bring myself to finish the book. I will see the movie although I will have to be alone with a box of tissues and some wine.

Brad and Angelina look very good together. This movie will probably be very good, but depressing. I may wait until it comes out on DVD. The little boy is very cute.

Yep, Anglina would have worn a nicer dress. Brad is wearing a nice tux after all. But they still look Fab.

What are you people smoking??? Angie looks gorgeous, and happy…SO LONG AS SHE’S NOT ALONE WITH BRAD! She is probably happy about the movie, but neither of them ever look at each other or smile when they are alone next to each other! I am sure it’s a great movie, and I think Marianne & Angie are wonderful… BUT Brangalina’s days are numbered, if this is any indication of how well they do together.

They look okay. She looks older than she is, and Brad just looks tired..since he seems to be the only one running after the kids, I can understand why. I was surprized to see a pic of Angelina holding Shiloh, probably for the papz that they called.
I liked what she was wearing in the previous post better than this dress. She looks so much better when she smiles, it gives her a more approachable feel.
Ms. Pearl’s son is adorable; he looks like a happy child.
And yes, to be a fly on the wall during that press conference…
Has anyone else noticed how much Brad is starting to look like Robert Redford as he gets older?
i think this movie is going to bomb… from the trailer, she sounds horrible, like the accent she did for alexander and sort of looked freakish too but she does look lovely, although old, at the premiere
