Brad Pitt + Angelina Jolie Plus Six

November 19th, 2008 // 4 Comments

Both Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are talking quite openly about the struggles they face with such a large family. Brad stopped by Oprah Winfrey‘s talk show and discussed the logistic complications his brood encounters when they try to plan a simple family outing.

“It’s like a half-an-hour just to get everyone buckled in and make sure they’ve got their snacks, and Z.Z. [Zahara, 3] has got a blanket and Shiloh’s got her silky,” Pitt explained to the talk show host, adding that a trip to the mall is quite simply out of the question. Still Brad said he couldn’t be happier.

On Angie’s end, the maybe future former actress discussed the difficulties she experienced breastfeeding twins. “It’s very hard, Jolie admitted. “I stopped at three months, [it was] about as much as I could do,” The Changeling actress told Britain’s GMTV morning show.

That sounds exhausting indeed.

Just saw the Brad interview on Oprah, it was cute.. I hate when the non fans print lies and leak untruths. There were not awkward moments. He was open, honest, and in some way very shy. It is obvious to anyone with eyes that he loves Angelina and their children very much. Beautiful..

Wow Debra! How’d you manage saying something nice about Brad Pitt and not get burned at the stake? I can never seem to do that…

    Watch… here cometh a troll

I don’t have tv, so didn’t see the interview, other than what’s popped up online, I did see his imitation of Shiloh (I mean John lol). Reminded me of my 2yr old grand son. With him it’s “don’t say dude!” and the 2 year old universal war cry “NO!” lol

I also caught Brad on Oprah. It was a great interview. Brad is very likable and you can tell he loves Angie and the kids VERY much. Told his kid stories like any proud papa would.
As for Angie and breastfeeding the twins. Hey, I only lasted 2 months! I agree with Angie, it was difficult and very time consuming. And that is with a 3 year old sibling. Angie has 4 older ones. But you do the best you can. WOW Both Brad and Angie sound very happy with their full life.

I breastfed all five of my children. The only ones that were hard for me were the two delivered by c-section. During those years, I worked in a large family practice and also midwifery. You would be amazed at how many women have trouble with breastfeeding after a c-section. Makes one wonder what the connection could be.

Now my “babies” are 25, 24, 23, 20, and 16. All but the youngest and oldest have families of their own. I guess that’s part of the reason I like watching the JPs they are building the large family I wanted to have!

Angelina also inspired my youngest… she wants to model and make enough money to adopt some day.
