Five years after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, Brad Pitt returns to the city to pay tribute. Pitt was being interviewed by NBC news anchor Brian Williams in New Orleans earlier today, as the anniversary approaches.
Brad took Williams to the rooftop of one of the new green homes in the city’s Lower 9th Ward that Pitt’s Make it Right Foundation, which he founded in 2007, helped build for residents left devastated and homeless by the hurricane. He’s built 34 eco-friendly homes already, but wants to build 150 in total.
Looking handsome as always, especially since the beard is gone, in a blue jean shirt, Pitt expressed his compassion for the low income community and smiled, waved and posed with fans that came out to visit.
