The best thing about movies is that when they come out celebrities have to promote them and people get to ask them about to address the latest rumors.  Extra asked  Bradley Cooper, who was promoting his new movie, Valentine’s Day, about the rumors that he was spotted buying an engagement ring for his gal Renee Zellweger. 

“That’s so crazy,” Cooper says, “It’s nuts the stuff that’s made up.” Come on, at least let them get to hand holding first .

He also wants to stomp the rumors that he is pampering his pooch…because he’s dead.  “My dog just recently died and there was a thing that just came out,” says Cooper. “It said I just spent all this money taking my dog to this spa.”

Here’s what we do know.  Cooper purchased a new home in the Pacific Palisades, Ca. and  Zellweger had a good ol’ time getting into a fender bender in front of it.
