Brangelina Bring Maddox Jolie-Pitt To ‘Invictus’ Premiere

December 4th, 2009 // 3 Comments

Despite Invictus‘ PG-13 rating, the newly sculpted Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt must believe that Maddox Jolie-Pitt was old enough to attend the premiere of the film last night in Hollywood.

The Clint Eastwood directed Invictus tells the true story of Nelson Mandela‘s, the former South African president, life during the 1995 rugby World Cup and how he used the sport to bring people together after apartheid.

Morgan Freeman, 72, plays the great Mandela, while Matt Damon, 39, is rugby team captain Francois Pienaar.

No word from Maddox’s rep on what he thought of the film. Would you bring your eight-year-old son to see Invictus?

I would definitely take my child. It’s a film about rugby, a sport that I love and which will soon be in the olympics and about an important time in history. With parents there to explain/talk about things a kids that age should be able to take what I expect is some mild violence, langugae and drinking etc. The key is having parents there to talk afterwards about it. ex: “When the rugby players were having a party after the game they were drinking alcohol, which makes you drunk- that’s feeling funny. Some grownups like to do that- even though it can also feel really bad. Like spinning in a circle for two long.” Good parents should be able to communicate with their kids.

No this child should not be at this Premiere. Let him be a little boy. He doesn’t need the PR–they do. They should respect their children more.
