For almost five years now we have been riding the waves of the tumultuous storm otherwise known as Brangelina.  First were the rumors, then came the film, and shortly after was the dissolve of Jennifer Anniston’s joy and the rise and reign of the most powerful A-List couple on the planet.

Although the couple started off in seriously bad taste and timing, it seemed for a while that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were making a fabulous life together.  Loads of kids, successful films, charity work–all things that come hand in hand with a happy union…

Not so fast.  According to Ian Halperin, the journalist who penned Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson, there is serious trouble in paradise.  Come December when his tell-all book Brangelina Exposed hits the shelves, Halperin’s going to be making a pretty penny dissecting the convoluted plots behind Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

In the exposé, Halperin reveals the “real” story behind Brad and Jen’s split, details Angie’s “dark past,” which delves into her troubled relationship with her famous Dad, Jon Voight, her “suicidal impulses, her heroin use” and her her “sexual exploits.”  Oh my!  He also names the person, who he claims, “orchestrated her makeover into a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador.”

My favorite bit about the press release is the juicy blame it lays on Angelina: “Jolie’s personal lifestyle choices are not only affecting her growing family… but causing serious and potentially irreparable tensions with Pitt.”  Them’s fightin’ words.  Halperin had better watch his back; this is one Tomb Raider I wouldn’t want to piss off.
