After a few years of partial expatriate living, the rumor might be true that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are ready to be American again. 

On Tuesday Angelina was spotted checking out apartments in Manhattan,
just a few weeks after signing a $60 million lease on a Long Island
mansion.  Because if there’s one thing we know about the Jolie-Pitts,
it’s that they like to live in a few homes at one time. 

But, according to Brad, the glam couple are ready to heed professional advice and stop uprooting their kids for two seconds.  “I’ve been dragging my kids from continent to continent,” he recently told Us Weekly.  “It’s time to “give them a break.”

But is the move really about the kids, or just Angelina’s career?  Clearly given up on her promise to cut back on movies, the actress has to be in New York anyway to film her new thriller Salt.  And with plans for more babies, Brangelina are bound to jet off somewhere new soon.  What would a Brangelina baby be if it was born on American soil?
