So, it’s not clear whether or not pop superstar Britney Spears has plans to peform (*ahem* I know what we’re all worried about happening), but she will not only be in attendance but is scheduled to “kick off” the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards hosted by Russell Brand this Sunday evening.
In a statement given to Us Weekly, Spears said, “MTV has long played an important role in my career. How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs?” This news, comes, of course after her manager Larry Rudolph told Ryan Seacrest “officially and unequivocally” that Spears had no plans to perform at the VMAs.
President of MTV Networks Van Toffler gave a vague idea of what fans and viewers can expect by saying, “I can’t wait to see what she does to kick off this year’s show.”

it wasn’t that she didn’t look hot, because she does…….it was the lip synching, the comatose demeanor and no “britney” dance moves that caused such a media frenzy……..the expectation
downward spiral after the wacky behavior, the divorce, etc. and unfortunately she delivered. Let us all cut bjs a break and hope for her a joyful and loving life.

she is still the sexiest girl around, but now she’s a mom and guys and young guys her age don’t like that. At the end of the day, you want guys to want you forever not just a quick F—k!
