After receiving treatment at a hospital in Mississippi over the weekend for “a reaction to something he ingested,” Jayden James Federline has been released from the hospital under the care of his mother Britney Spears.

Originally, reports circulated that the two-year-old son of the pop star with her ex-husband Kevin Federline had suffered from a seizure. However, a statement from Brit’s official website revealed that it was the result of something the child had eaten.

Spears is currently visiting family in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana on her first visit out of state with her two sons since her divorce.
