As was expected in lieu of his attack on Proenza Schouler designer Jack McCollough at the MET Costume Gala, Kiefer Sutherland has reported to a NYC police station to give his account of the incident. An officer confirmed to Us, “Kiefer is here, he walked in a few minutes ago.”

The 24 star had reportedly been drinking prior to head-butting McCollough over a dispute that somehow involved Brooke Shields. In fact, Shields might find herself questioned as a witness in the case.

Sutherland, who served time behind bars most recently in late 2007 for DUI charges, could find himself this time charged with misdemeanor assault.
