Possibly having broken his collar bone, seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong has been taken to the hospital after a nasty spill.

This fall comes on the first day of a five-day cycling expedition in Spain and has resulted in the cyclist’s transport to a hospital via ambulance.

Armstrong is riding with the Astana team in the Vuelta of Castilla and Leon race as part of his comeback in cycling as the first European race in which he’s competed since the Tour de France in 2005.
