In a completely unshocking turn of events, Britney Spears done lost them kiddies.
L.A. County Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon issued an order today stating that Kevin Federline, the boys’ father, “is to retain physical custody of the minor children on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 12:00 PM until further order of the court.”
Holy shit. This is gonna be the ultimate Francis Farmer moment on top of her Francis Farmer moment collection. What the hell is she gonna do all day? Who’s going to tell her to put some pants on and where the house is? You know those kids stepped up a long time ago and started trying to help her crazy ass out. Until they finally had to crawl to the courthouse and say “Look, judge – Dad’s a scrub but he knows where his house is. Let’s get crucial.” Stay tuned.

You know, all this time I hoping that she would lose them so maybe she would realize how much she has been acting like an ass. But now that she has lost her kids, I kind of feel sad for her. Hopefully this will be a reality check for her to wake up and start acting like a grown up.

Per usual, there’s more to this story than what’s written here… He probably has the kids until she goes through parenting classes and can prove she’s not doing drugs. Once she proves that, she’ll get them back.

She is going to have to work really really hard and it will take AT LEAST a year to get any form of custody back.

Lindz – it’s true — everyone on this board acts as if they’ve never had a drink while their kids were either sleeping or playing in another room. I don’t buy it. I also don’t buy it that old Kevin doesn’t do his share of drinking and drugs as well. The funny thing is though that now that KFED has pulled this little game on Britney, the cameras are going to be watching him like a hawk and he best not screw up even once.
And I 100% agree that he didn’t go after his other kids (or EVEN STAY with his other kids), because they weren’t worth the same amount of money, but time will show this. Don’t worry.

I had read in US Weekly that she thought the judges orders were ‘crazy’.
I love Brit and it’s sad to see her spiral down like this… but sometiems it takes hitting rock bottom for someone to learn to stand on their own feet.

Britney has had one chance after another…her relatives have been urging her to get help, and she seems bent on a self-destructive path. It’s quite possible she’s mentally ill, in my opinion. Just because she’s a celebrity, don’t assume she’s a wonderful person. Some women should NOT have children. Ever.
My main concern is those two little guys who have had quite enough bad parenting. They need to see a doctor and a dentist immediately, and now that Kevin has them (with the support of the grandparents) I think their life has taken a turn for the better.
Let’s keep focused on who’s important here. Clue: It isn’t Ms. Spears.

The bad news is she has to surrender the kids. The good news is that since she has to give them up at 12 noon, she can take care of it when she’s on her way home from the previous night’s clubbing.
I hate to come across like I’m defending Federline, but maybe the reason he didn’t try to seek custody of his other children is that the mother of those children isn’t out of her mind. I’m not naive about the possibility he’s in it only for the money (since his spousal support runs out in a matter of weeks), but he’s not inventing Britney’s antics that we see nearly every day.
Now, she’ll have every incentive to straighten herself out. We’ll see if she’s up to it.

For your information, Kevin didn’t need to get custody of the kids from Shar bc she is an EXELLENT mother.

Spears is the crazy, compulsive fool who “bought” a husband and then popped out two kids in succession to try to trap him. If he used her at all, she brought it on herself. She encouraged it by lavishing him with expensive jewelry, cars and motorcycles. She acted like a desperate, old, worn-out hag hiring a gigolo. She did it! Nobody told Spears to act so incredibly stupid. The fact that she couldn’t pull herself together (after all these months) to retain custody of her kids just proves how unstable she truly is.

Self medicating, in my opinion…
I’ll say it again…it’s VERY hard to have sympathy for a person who KNOWS they have a problem (one that can cause their kids to be taken from them!) and does nothing about it. If she had at least made a discernible effort to improve herself, I think we’d be seeing a lot more sympathy from the posters on here. but she’s acting like she just doesn’t give a flying fuck, and certainly acting like she doesn’t want custody.
