My money is on suicide . . . losing a son, new husband a suspect in the media, DNA testing going forward (then I”m sure sewed for custody), ongoing money issues, obvious drug problems . . . yep, lots of stress! How very sad for her daughter (no matter how she died)

Actually it’s probably better for the daughter that she doesn’t grow around that saint of a mother the poor kid had.

Just wanted to say you are not an asshole since you wrote that before you knew it was serious. We were all thinking along the same lines before we heard she died.

I can’t say the same about some of the people here though. What a bunch of a-holes.

It’s tragic. The woman went through a lot and she is dead for crying out loud! Who did she harm other than herself? Never watched her show so I wasn’t harmed.

Rest in peace Anna Nicole. Hope she watches over her daughter from up there…

It’s sad that a woman so young is dead for no good reason. It’s sad that a little girl lost her mama (whether or not Anna would have been a good influence on her is beside the point, a little girl lost her mother, that will always haunt her). It’s terribly sad that Daniel died at such a young age. The whole story is just plain sad. On the other hand, it’s no secret what drugs & alcohol can do to a human body. Anna could have sought help and therapy; she had the money to do it, just not the strength. Anna was a media circus because she chose to be exactly that; she wanted to be in the limelight, to be the center of attention. Her craving for drugs and fame were stronger than her desire to overcome them and to be a good influence, a good model for her children. With the money she had, she could have helped so many people, instead she chose to be a train wreck. And let’s face it, she was a train wreck long before the death of Daniel. But…. since that event, she’s been on a speeding train racing hell bent to meet her own death wish. Sad for herself, sad for the people who loved her, especially sad for that little girl. But it was her choice.

Very sad…yes she may have been a bimbo and married an old guy for his money- but the press was terrible to her in the last few years and with the death of her son, you could tell from recent interviews she was deeply hurt. Sad, sad, sad. She put Guess? on the map and no matter what you think of her, she was a human and deserves peace.

Why is her baby’s name Danielynn Hope Marshall Stern? Wasn’t Marshall her second husband? Did she put that name in there for him or what?

To “sad for the baby”: Yes, you are absolutely right. 4 marines died, another tragedy. They no doubt had fathers, mothers, sisters & brothers who loved them and will miss them. Some had wives or husbands, lovers and children. Those brave souls who died today will be greatly missed also. I don’t think that anyone who reads this site would argue with you on that and I’m sure no one would argue that those lives are any less significant. The only thing is, this is a “celebrity web site”; therefore our lack of acknowledgement on those tragedies here. Thank you for “putting it out there”, and making at least one other person (me) consider the loss of those lives as well.

Soooo sad. I must admit I loved Anna for being ANNA. She had in my oinion one of the best faces of any celebrity. The poor daughter. Well I don’t wanna be sad but I guess thats the dark/evil side to selling your soul/chasing fame. Blessings to her daughter and may you rest in peace and be reunited with your son up there, somewhere..Bye forever beautiful Anna.

Lots of people don’t know this – but there is a high risk of dying after childbirth, add to that the weight loss, plastic surgery and the drugs, probably methadone she was taking and it was a cocktail of very bad things.

I feel for the baby, she’s going to be like vulture ridden carrion with all the potential money at stake. Let’s hope Anna is at peace, but we’ll be hearing about the estate vs. estate lawsuit for years to come.

Very sad, but I think she is taking a lot of secrets with her to the grave. Is Howard next ? He is the only one left who really knows the truth about Daniel’s death, the baby, and what her condition was. I think SOME, not all the details will come out, but I don’t think he can handle the truths they have been hiding. Too much, too fast.

Hello- why isn’t one looking at her beau Howard for this??? C’Mon she’s in the midst of receiving what some $400 million and then she gets knocked up, gives birth (To what Howard claims is his baby) Daniel dies mysteriously- even if one doctor said it was from an OD of combination drugs-other peoples opinion vary greatly (RIP) leaving her only with Howard & the new baby- they get married (hello beneficiary- in case the daughter isn’t his) and now Anna (RIP) if Anna wins the legal battle (even after her death, they can do that) He is the one person who will have gained the most by Daniel & Anna’s death- & he’s a lawyer and knows his way around stuff….and I heard he’s sleazy.
If I’m wrong – sorry about that buddy but 2 “mysterious” deaths within 6 months….??? He is the link…..> Her death is turning out to be like Marilyn Monroe’s – some claiming suicide, Drug OD and then there’s the unknown (I’m going with poison) murder????

the person who stands to gain the most from this is Stern. With Daniel out of the picture (I suspected Stern in that death from day one..done so he was the only “man” in Anna’s life) and now with Anna Nicole gone, the biological father has control over whatever money Dannielyn will get. VERY convenient for Stern, unless the paternity test shows Birkhead to be the father, which is likely.

Stern is going to fight that paternity test with everything he’s got.

what ever happened to Anna’s assistant, the homely lesbian… i want to hear a comment about the situation from her.

H. Stern has NOTHING to gain from this. He wasn’t her LEGAL husband…he will get NOTHING unless he’s POSITIVE he’s the baby’s father & we all know that’s in debate. Anna was worth more to him alive while she was making money & sharing it with him. Now that she’s dead, he doesn’t get that AND he won’t get her estate if Danielynn isn’t his!
I admit the guy is a suspicious creep, but I don’t see any $$$ motive…
Their marriage was NEVER legal in the US.
