Brenda Song & Trace Cyrus Call It Quits

Well, that engagement was short-lived. Disney star Brenda Song and singer Trace Cyrus have announced that they’ve called off their engagement. The two made headlines back in October when it was revealed that Brenda wasn’t pregnant, but two were engaged. Trace made a statement today saying, “Brenda and I have decided to go our separate ways.”

Apparently the Cyrus family can only handle one engaged member at a time and currently Miley is filling that role. Now, the two may have split a few months ago, but since it was only revealed today, I can only imagine that this tweet of Miley’s is somehow related.

In any case it’s probably better this way, don’t you think? I mean, Brenda and Trace weren’t exactly the world’s cutest couple. 

At least they’ve decided to split now rather than get married, have kids and then decide to focus on their careers because it’s just not working out.
