British GQ’s Men Of the Year Upstaged By Women!

September 3rd, 2008 // 1 Comment

The British GQ Men of the Year party seemed to be overpowered by the stunning women present for the event. Rockstars seemed to be the best represented category of the male populace, with Led Zeppelin taking home the Outstanding Achievement Award and performances by Keane and The Killers. Tony Bennett received the Inspiration Award from none other than Sir Elton John and Dave Grohl was around for good measure.

Gordon Ramsay was honored with Entrepreneur of the Year, and Josh Brolin, Orlando Bloom, and Mark Ronson were all present.

But the women took over the carpet with the beauty and fashion. Elle Macpherson showed why she is a fashion legend. Lily Allen wore J. Harvey’s old bedspread. Elizabeth Hurley, Thandie Newton, Miranda Kerr, and Daisy Lowe rounded off the group of beauties.

Rumor has it the party was crazy, and many of these classy faces you see on the red carpet got HAMMERED. You know Tony Bennett was showing the rock stars how it’s done!

Hah – Elle McPherson is STUNNING and she’s 44. She’s had two kids, had post-natal depression, gone through heart break and she still looks like this?

I don’t care what Heidi “my face is so ordinary” Klum has to say, Elle is “The Body” and she’s had the title for a long time and it don’t look as if she’s giving it up any time soon.

Wish we got to see her more often.

    Thanks for posting the pix.
