Get this girl to an institution. On a recent outing to the Hustler Store on the Sunset Strip, Britney attempted to steal the racy underwear shown above (she was stopped at the door and ended up paying for them). What is really bizarre is what happened prior to her attempted shoplifting incident. After she reportedly attempted to sneak the undergarment past employees, she was again told that she could not take them into the dressing room. According to eyewitness reports, Spears then removed her own panties in the middle of the store and tried the Barely Legal shorts on before heading to the door with the undergarments tucked into her bag, unpaid for.
Just plain sad.

While I don’t doubt that she probably tried to leave without paying (it may have been totally by accident… I’ll give the benefit of the doubt) I truly doubt she put them on in the middle of the store. That just sounds so untrue to me. Plus, like Nona said, their would be a photo. No doubt their would be a photo.
