The wonderful folks at GoldenPalace.com have purchased the urine caked pregnancy test that Britney Spears used. The marketers of the First Response pregnancy kit are sure to be thrilled that she used their product.

GoldenPalace.com are the proud parent of The Brit Kit — the First Response home pregnancy test that announced to the world Britney Spears was carrying her husband’s baby.

The test was lifted from the garbage outside a Los Angeles hotel where Spears, 23, was staying. It was sold for an undisclosed amount to Ottawa radio station Hot 89.9, where it stayed for two weeks before being auctioned off for charity.

GoldenPalace.com beat out 800 contenders with the winning bid of $5,001. The money will benefit the Ottawa chapter of the Easter Seals, as well as Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Trust.

While I do think that it’s great that the proceeds of this went to charity, it’s a pretty disgusting way to have raised those funds. Although I’m sure there are those who would love to own a stick of Britney Spears dried urine.
