I love this dress on her–it’s very Country Posh Spice. With all of the court proceedings going on between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline at the moment, it’s easy to forget that she was completely head over heels for the guy not that long ago. And she’s been using her latest album, Blackout, to express all the feelings that have arisen from her divorce. The title of the track is “Why Should I Be Sad,” and sounds an awful lot like Britney talking about her failed relationship to Federline, hinting at the turmoil Britney was feeling during the time when her marriage really started to disintegrate.
“The song is definitely about Britney and Kevin’s relationship when they were married. Britney entertains the idea that she stayed home taking care of the kids while Kevin was out partying. The track … will be very revealing for her fans.”
Yes, now that may be true, with Britney saying in one of the lyrics: “It just seemed that Vegas/ Only brought the playa out of you.” But let’s not have the pot calling the kettle a party animal, since we’ve got photographic evidence of both of them partying like rock stars during that time. That said, I love the direction Britney’s fashion is taking. It’s like she’s almost nearing her goal of “respectable” but can’t quite fully achieve it. And I’m entranced.

The dress is ok.. it’s not terrible. I wouldn’t wear it but she looks ok in it.
You know- if this really was about KFed… that would explain why she’s not making a *total* effort to get her babies back, as they would be “reminder” of KFed and she may resent the fact that she had to take care of them all the time. In turn she may resent them instead of KFed for that (He was out partying a lot when they were born). This isn’t an uncommon scenario, unfortunately, among young parents.
However, she didn’t write the song (according to people)… so we can’t be 100% that it’s about him.
I hope Britney does go on tour and I hope she is well received by her fans and does relly well. This would boost her confidence and maybe when she is finished she will be ready to slow down and rest and get her kids back. I am glad people are starting to have some compassion for her. She is so young and has been thru so much. I pray for her. She can turn it all around and it would be great to see her turn out to be a good mom and KFed revealed for what he really is, a user, loser, slime ball.
