It’s been an exhausting 12 months for Britney Spears, between dealing with her legal woes, gearing up for her confusing world tour and actually touring.

However, despite rumors that she was pushed into touring, Britney’s claiming that the decision to take her show on the road was all her own.

The pop star tells Hello!, “People thought I was finished, didn’t they? I guess for a while last year it looked that way. Nothing I can do about the past. But I’m hoping to prove them wrong now.”

Meanwhile, she’s definitely looking increasingly more cheerful these days, what with the smiling and the bright colors. I bet it has to do with the charming men in her life.
