Britney Spears Feels Like She’s In A Jail

November 18th, 2008 // 3 Comments

Well, honey, you kind of brought the sentence on yourself. Britney Spears has filmed a documentary in which she reveals that living under the permanent conservatorship of her dad Jamie and not being able to run amok in convenience stores and slither onto paparazzi lovers has made her feel confined.

“I have really good days, and then I have bad days,” she says in Britney: For The Record.
“Even when you go to jail,
y’know, there’s the time when you’re gonna get out. But in this
situation, it’s never ending. It’s just like [the Bill Murray movie] Groundhog Day. I’m having to pay for it for a really long time,” she says about her meltdown over the past two years in which she lost full custody of her two children, and had to give her father control over her financial affairs.

Spears says that she would feel so “liberated” if she were given control over her life back, and that the people in her life aren’t really “listening” to her. Are we sure the people she’s talking to are real? She’s been doing so well lately, we just want to make sure.

The documentary airs Nov. 30 on MTV and in the U.K. Dec. 1 on Sky1.
