Pop star Britney Spears initially cut her Vancouver concert short when cigarette smoke filled the air. According to a female voice that came on after Britney walked off the stage 15 minutes into her performance, “The building is awfully smoky. It is uncomfortable for everyone on stage, including Ms. Spears. Please extinguish all cigarettes–this is a non-smoking building, and the show will resume when the smoke on the stage is cleared.”
However, once the smoke cleared, Brit-Brit returned and her fans seemed happy with her performance aside from the delay. Afterward, a statement was posted on her website, that said, “We want to apologize to all the fans who attended our Vancouver show tonight for the brief pause in Britney’s set. Crew members above the stage became ill due to a ventilation issue.”
In closing at her Vancouver concert, Britney advised her fans, “Don’t smoke weed, rock out with with your cocks out!” Ha! That Britney is just like a fortune cookie that keeps on giving.

they didn’t say “the show will resume once the smoke has cleared”! they said “Britney WILL NOT return until the smoke is cleared” leaving us to think that if they can’t clear the smoke the shows over! it was more a ventilation problem than ppl smoking, when we got there during the pre-show it was like a sauna! how could they possible clear the smoke from HER smoke machines without proper ventilation?
