Today is the triumphant return of Britney Spears! Her ‘Circus’ tour debuts in Louisiana tonight with her real-life circus family along for the ride, y’all.
While we reported that her concert sales were dismal and Kevin Federline will get paid as generously as his expanding waistline, thankfully Britney is soldiering through her nerves and may very well debut a concert actually worth seeing.
“Britney was really tense up until the show,” an insider told The New York Daily News, “but
she got such positive feedback that she’s a lot more confident about
her performance.”
Apparently, Britney “killed” her trademark tracks — “Womanizer,” “I’m A Slave 4 U,” “Circus” and “Toxic” — for an audience of 30 people this weekend, which is reassuring. Madonna is even rumored to stuff her bits in some sort of leotard thing and join Britney on stage for a date or two.
If nothing else, it’s refreshing to actually read about Britney’s music rather than that Adnan thing or Sam Lutfi (shudder).

That is the dumbest statement I have ever read. How could she not “Kill” her trademark songs when she lip-syncs to every single one of them.
How people can spend money to see her is beyond me. Their probably the same people who don’t pay their mortgages or credit card bills.
