In her new book, Through The Storm: A Real Tale Of Fame And Family In A Tabloid World (kickass title for the Lifetime movie), Mom Spears says that Britney lost her virginity at 14 to a high school football player that Lynne encouraged her to date so she would be popular.
Keep in mind, hooker was already on the Mickey Mouse Club. So didn’t she have the popularity thing down? Seriously, how did Britney keep from snapping before? Lynne Spears is a monster.
And she’s really looking to sell some books, huh? This was supposed to be the book about how to parent your children until Jamie Lynn Spears got knocked up so now it’s a tell-all. This is one wholesome family. Seriously, they should be hosting the 700 Club.

It’s pretty funny/sad to hear someone who has reaped tremendous financial benefits from her parenting “mistakes”, warn all of us not to not make those same mistakes in the form of a book that will make her even more mony. I’m so freaking sure that she would give up her opulent current life if it could “make BritBrit all better”.
Thank you, Lynne, for telling me it might be a bad idea to let, nay ENCOURAGE, your 14 year old daughter to sleep w/ an 18 year old for the sake of popularity. What diamonds of wisdom will you bestow next, o benevolent oracle? That I shouldn’t stick my head into a raging kiln? Please, lets not make excuses. I lost my virginity at 14 because I was stupid. However, that did not mean I turned into a damn adult train wreck. Thank you very much.

Yeah — Lynne Spears is not going to win any mother-of-the-year awards, that’s for sure. Rightly so. But I’m still on Brit Brit’s side. I hope she gets healthy, gets on track, re-establishes ties with her children, and shocks the industry (and all of the naysayers) with a huge, mega-hit.

Geeeeez. I had blue balls for two years helping Britney hold on to her virginity, and now I come to find out that she was nailing some high school jock at 14? Well, at least my right arm and wrist are much stronger for the experience, and Kleenex had record profits through those years. I knew I should have been going after Jamie Lynn at the time.

I knew the first time I saw Britney, she was destined to be a train wreck through no fault of her own, since her parents “allowed” her to put her 16 year old “goodies” on display for old guys like me to oogle.
