Yay! Because Britney Spears didn’t look completely stoned and like she was wearing an outfit belonging to a woman about 3 sizes smaller than her, I am considering her kicking off of this year’s MTV Video Music Awards to be a huge success.
Hair, make-up and clothing were in place and by God, this woman actually resembled the woman we’ve been waiting to see return to the stage. Girlfriend picked up the award for Best Female Video for her single “Piece of Me.”
Our girl is back and sounded like her old bubbly self, thanking God and her family cheerfully. I’m welling up over here. Even though she wasn’t actually rehearsing for some mind-blowing surprise performance, Brit-Brit was totally lucid and wearing a hot silver dress, y’all.
