Britney Spears Won’t Be Slouching Across The VMA Stage Again This Year

August 26th, 2008 // 3 Comments

Britney Spears has elected not to perform at this year’s MTV Music Video Awards. If you’ll recall, last year was the performance in which she waddled across the stage, listlessly looked around, and sorta sighed. It was supposed to be a comeback after this period in her life.

Brit’s manager, Larry Rudolph, says that she’s not into it his year despite rumors.

“She did the promo for them, but there never were any plans for her to appear on the show,” a spokesman for Rudolph said.

Britney is up for three awards this year, including Video of the Year for that piece of bewigged crap “Piece of Me.”

Why should she? She is working on her new album, in a video for Madonna’s tour, and healing just fine. So very happy for Britney! Go girl!
