Britney Spears remains under psychiatric care at UCLA Medical Center, as a judge has awarded conservatorship to her dad, Jamie Spears and attorney Andrew Wallet. Conservators “have the power to hire 24-hour security at her house, access her medical records and communicate with treating physicians.” They also have the power to make any decisions on her behalf, and revoke any contracts Britney might have made. The first order of business for Brit’s Dad was to get Sam lufti taken care of. He has been ordered to “stay away” from Brit by the courts. In fact, he has been served with a restraining order for “harassing” her. So he is barred from any contact with her at the hospital or her home. Britney didn’t take this well.
Sources say she got on the horn and started freaking out on whomever she was calling. And still working the British accent. She allegedly said “I’m so sick of all of this they can have the goddamn house and stick it up their f**king asses. Actually, no they can’t.” Seriously, I wouldn’t want my house up someone’s ass. I like how she backtracked on that one. She also said, about her dad taking over, “Nobody’s taking my house. Who is my family?” Oh honey. Just take the pills and sit down with someone in a room one-on-one to talk. Where’s Adnan? Keep an eye on him, he might be done up in hospital scrubs and looking to spirit her out in a laundry cart. At least that’s the plan until her Dad freezes her accounts. As always, stay tuned.
Remember when Camille Paglia said the kiss between Britney and Madonna was “the kiss of death”? She was so right. Nothing positive has happened to or from Britney since then. That was really the last time she actually performed as the Britney Spears we knew.

More importantly… this site has become almost un-navigable because of all the electronic advertising and scroll menus, etc.. It takes forever to load all that stuff, and if you try to scroll the page before it’s done, it just jumps all around the screen and there is no mouse or cursor control. Every movement has a delayed reaction, then it’s much-exaggerated. I love the writing on this site, but it’s becoming a real pain to visit. Please do something about this!

Wow. I know those photos have been tweaked beyond all recognition, but remember when Britney used to be HOT?! Good grief. She’s basically unrecognizable now.
Well, I hope Daddy really does have her best interests at heart, otherwise, he can screw her over just like everyone else has. She’s gonna end-up hatin’ him BUT if he gets her help (mentally and financially) it will be worth it.
I look at this girl and see my own daughter, the same age, who has survived a whole lot of mess in her young life. I wish only the best for this girl. I think her dad is probably the best person to have in charge right now.
