If there was any question about Brittany Murphy’s acting ability, all is put to rest with her performance in “Dead Girl.” She’s been slumming of late in formulaic films, but this performance with hopefully help her get her out of that rut. She’s playing an endearing hooker with a Courtney Love personality. She has a small role, but she leaves a big impression.
