I just read that Brooke Shields told People magazine at the premiere party celebrating the return of her series Lipstick Jungle that she is now focusing on her body.

Shields said, “I’ve never been one to actually focus on myself physically because everyone else was doing it for me. So I had this detachment, to be honest, for a very long time.”

Don’t you love it when former sex symbols ruminate on how they didn’t realize what they had till it was gone? Don’t get me wrong, she still looks way better than me and I’m a good 20 years younger, but I get the feeling that in about twenty years, I’ll be writing this same post about the super-sexy but not sort-of-not-really Megan Fox.

And her co-star Robert Buckley, for that matter.
