Bruce Willis Points out the Imperfections of “Perfect Stranger”

Momentarily forgetting the name for Bruce Willis’ latest film, and thinking that the headlines about his beef with “Perfect Stranger” instead had something to do with a strange (and not so timely) vendetta he had against cousins, Balki Bartokomous and Larry Appleton, I initially found myself feeling defensive of one of my favorite sitcoms from my childhood. And then it dawned on me…that I’m an idiot. Instead, Bruce is actually upset with how the promotion of his movie with Halle Berry, “Perfect Stranger” (minus that all-important “s”), was executed and blames the producers of the film for its poor showing at the box office by their insistence on softening its edge.

“Perfect Stranger was ruined by the producers. Oddly enough, that film was meant to be a hard R rating, but when all the things that were meant to be in it were cut, except for the ‘f**k’s', they got a PG-13 rating. Weird right?

“I was disappointed with that film… Everyone tried hard, worked hard, but it was not to be.”

I’m having trouble having an opinion now that I know this has absolutely nothing to do with Mypos and/or Cousin Larry. Or sheep.
