A public encounter that didn’t involve someone flying off into a jealous rage finally took place between Justin Timberlake and ex-girlfriend, Cameron Diaz Friday night. The scene of the amicable run-in was the Whiskey Bar at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood where Justin was enjoying a group outing with Martin Scorsese and eight other peeps. People reports:

Then, at about 1 a.m., Diaz arrived. “Cameron never joined their table,” says the observer. “She just showed up and Justin got up and started talking to her. They were being very discreet. “They weren’t kissing or holding hands or anything, but they were being very friendly,” the observer adds.
