Candy Spelling Blames Tori Spelling For Her Husband’s Death

May 28th, 2009 // 17 Comments

Ouch. What a bitch.

During an appearance on a Massachusetts radio station Thursday to promote her book, Stories From Candyland, Candy Spelling trashed her daughter Tori Spelling, and blamed her husband Aaron Spelling’s death on Tori.

“My daughter one day decided that she wasn’t speaking to my husband, myself and my son, and that’s how it’s continued for the last, oh gosh, four or five years. And it was sad, that’s what killed my husband, actually. He just didn’t want to live after that. He [had] just done everything he could possibly do for his daughter, and she wanted no part of him once he couldn’t do anything for her.”

Spelling died June 23, 2006, following a stroke. For Tori’s sake, hopefully her mother will follow in her father’s footsteps shortly.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND THIS SELFISH HORRIBLE WOMEN IS THE FARTHEST THING FROM A MOTHER !!!!!
I am a mom of 2 year old twins and could NEVER IN MY WILDEST DREAMS/NIGHTMARES BE ANYWHERE EVEN CLOSE TO THINKING THIS WAY.
I really like Tori and enjoy her fabulous show. She seems so caring and from one Mommy to another she is an exceptional parent and very loving Mom.
Her miserable COW of a mom is JEALOUS and she is much better off without her in her life.
I hope sweet Tori will use this as a learning tool on how NOT to be as a parent.

It really doesn’t matter if what she says about Tori is true or not. No mother with an ounce of decency would EVER go to the press and say such horrible words about their daughter. This is really messed up and I feel sorry for Tori. But Tori, you have your own wonderful family now so show them all the love you have and use your mom as an example of everything NOT to do as a parent.

There’s something wrong with Candy Spelling.

  5. me | May 29, 2009 at 7:37 am

Candy reminds me of my mother-just mean & hateful. Another one who should have never had children obviously.

  6. Susan | May 29, 2009 at 7:47 am

Wow, what a sick, bitter “mother.”

  7. T-Bone | May 29, 2009 at 8:25 am

I love it when parents insult their children. Like they had nothing whatsoever to do with their upbringing. Candy doesn’t seem to realize that kids are a product of their environment and everything they learn and most of what they are is based on parental guidance. So Candy dear, an insult to your child is really just a slam on your own self. Wake up.

Totally self absorbed woman. This example of her being a mother to Tori makes it clear why Tori steers clear of
“mother”. What kind of person would try to put that kind of guilt trip on their child?

someone needs to place a muzzle on candy spelling. does she ever say anything nice?

Candy Spelling needs to go into her “gift wrapping room” in her mansion and never come out.

Your entitled to express your opinion but remember Candy Spelling is the mother of Tori and we do not know all of the details. Besides remember (1) of the ten commandments
To Honor Our Mother & Father.
Tori is just a spoiled child and she did not get her way so the only thing she knows how to hurt her mother is to keep the Grandchildren from her so remember this, the children is the only one (Tori) is truly hurting..
Good Luck to Candy Spelling and her Daughter (Tori)

If Tory is a spoiled brat then the fault is with Candy. She raised this entitled little troll.

I think it is pretty sad that a mother and daugher can not get alone it would kill me if me and my mom did’nt get alone remember you only have one mother. when she gone that’s it so for both of them i hope they can patch things up before something happens. (lord forebid)then they will never know what could have turn out. But i do think that was awful what she said about her own daughter it’s something more deep she’s holding in and she is taking it out on her on daughter maybe something her mom did to her.

Wow.. umm, hey, drooling retards? Lay off the capslock key.

  16. Kait | May 30, 2009 at 2:20 pm

Agree with Scott about caps lock fools, but God. No fucking wonder Tori wants nothing to do with Candy! It is so unfortunate and disrespectful of them both to repeatedly bash out each other publically but to blame something so tragic on her own flesh and blood is just beyond any disgust that I can express.

Candy Spelling was a salesgirl at a Bev Hills store who finished work and went up the street to the old nightclub, The Daisey, to try to catch rich, old, usually ugly men and snag them. Candy got Aaron. She has never been accused of having brains, taste or talent. (Must spin in bed. Ugh! What an awful mental image!) But it resulted in the horribly geeky, hooked nosed Randy, and Tori. Randy got a nose job, his daddy put him in a soap that flopped, he’s a boring drunk. Tori is actually a nice person. Rumor around the set back in the day was that Candy locked her in a closet to punish her for “being bad”. We believed the rumor, not about being bad, but about the closet. That’s Candy Spelling in a nutshell. Don’t buy the book! Tori’s “Mommyland” is great!
