I am absolutely loving Carey Mulligan‘s (aka Daisy Buchanan) lavender lace dress on the Sydney, Australia set of The Great Gatsby.  Mulligan seemed to be having a dandy time with co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire in a grandiose Sydney Centennial Park set made to look like Long Island, where the film takes place.

I do hope that director Baz Luhrman knocks this one out of the park.  Almost every movie he’s done – with the exception of Australia – has been magnificent.  Maguire, in a green shawl collar cardigan, plays Nick Carroway in the classic tale while DiCaprio took on the title role of Jay Gatsby.
