At least that’s what Nicolas Winding Refn wants you to believe of Carey Mulligan, who he’s interested in having star in his next film, I Walk With The Dead.
“I’ve always wanted to make a movie with lots of sex. So I wrote this story called, I Walk With The Dead and it takes place in Miami and it’s just going to have a lot of sex in it,” said Refn in an interview, according to the Huffington Post.
We wonder if that’s the exact pitch he used to Mulligan for the film.

This would be a huge departure from the personalities Mulligan portrays in film – and life! The understated star leads a pretty normal life, rarely recognized in public. Currently filming The Great Gatsby with Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire, who she’s seen here taking a leisurely jog with in Sydney, Australia, Mulligan plays Daisy – no sex symbol status achieved there. She had a feature role in Shame, as a sex addict but alas, she played his sister, not his lover.
Perhaps a second go around opposite Ryan Gosling, who she currently stars with in Drive will give Mulligan the confidence to scream sex symbol.
