Carey Mulligan arrived at the 2010 Independent Spirit Awards wearing Christopher Kane.  Mulligan’s film, An Education, won Best Foreign Film last night.  The pixie Brit is a Best Actress nominee and will hopefully wear something better at tomorrow night’s Academy Awards.

I don’t embrace this dress.  It doesn’t jive with Mulligan’s supershort haircut.  The detailing is beautiful, but the length isn’t great.  Still, I  love Mulligan and desperately want her to win at tomorrow night’s Academy Awards.
