Carey Mulligan has been introduced to us as Shia LaBeouf’s girlfriend, but she is starting to bring in the attention all herself.  Unless you’ve been glued to BBC One you probably don’t recognize this fresh-face 24 year old without Shia in tow.  Then again this British born actress of stage and film is hard to recognize due to her chameleon-like morphing into her characters. 

She’s received critical acclaim for her role in An Education, a film she wasn’t even sure would be bought at Sundance.  Now, thanks to this exposure, she’s landed a role in Wall Street 2 which also stars Shia.
