Country superstar and American Idol winner Carrie Underwood arrived at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards tonight (February 11th) in a meh-looking Roberto Cavalli strapless dress. I was, however, enchanted by her ridiculously opulent necklace.
The hair style is a smidge too “Sandra Dee” for my liking, but I’m OK with what’s going on. Mainly because she stuck to this year’s wardrobe standards. You know that Oklahoma girl can go all country if CBS don’t keep ‘er in line!
Underwood still can’t get used to the fact that she’s nominated for two Grammy awards. ”Growing up watching them and seeing all kinds of music coming together for one night to celebrate a great year, it’s a cool thing to be a part of now,” Underwood told Zap2it. ”It’s just fun to be there and to be a part of history.”
Underwood is nominated in two categories, Best Country Solo Performance and and Best Country Song (“Blown Away”).
