Lindsay Lohan Enters Betty Ford After Ditching First Rehab Facility

Please Lindsay, stay put. For everyone’s good.

Let’s all take a deep breath (of crack fumes) and recap what went down yesterday. Lindsay Lohan rejected the Hamptons rehab facility because they wouldn’t let her smoke, so she waited until the very last minute to fly to California (in hysterics, apparently) to check herself into a rehab in Newport Beach called Morningside.

LL’s lawyer and the prosecutor met with the judge in an emergency hearing because no one had signed off on this new rehab, and the judge basically said “EH” and let LL stay at Morningside pending further approval. As it turns out, WHILE the hearing was going on, Lindsay had checked out of the rehab because OMG OF COURSE.

Chris Kelly Of Kris Kross Dead At 34

So young. So sad.

Chris Kelly, one-half of the 1990′s rap duo Kris Kross died this afternoon. He was only 34.

Kelly, who also went by ‘Mac Daddy,’ and his partner Chris Smith (‘Daddy Mac’), were only 13 when they were discovered by Jermaine Durpi while performing at a mall in Atlanta.

Earlier this evening, Kelly was found unresponsive at his Atlanta home, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Tara Reid AKA Team Tara is not friends with Lindsay Lohan, telling TMZ, “We don’t really like each other that much.” And when I say, “telling TMZ” I mean that she was in the TMZ studio hanging out among all of them, talking like she worked there.

They were discussing Lindsay Lohan’s latest driving problems — this time, Lindsay had her car towed for parking in the wrong place — and Ms. Reid got into Lohan a little bit.

Catherine Zeta Jones Back In Treatment For Bipolar Disorder

Catherine Zeta-Jones has entered a treatment center for help with treating her bipolar disorder. It was always known that Catherine had Bipolar II disorder, especially as she had completed a previous course of treatment back in 2011. This time, it’s more of a ‘proactive’ measure, according to the report, and she’s said to be going in for a 30 day treatment.

Now, there are different stages of bipolar disorders, and in Catherine’s case, Bipolar II is categorized, “by at least one hypomanic episode and at least one major depressive episode; with this disorder, depressive episodes can be more frequent and are more intense than hypomanic episodes.” The definition states that people diagnosed with Bipolar II don’t experience a ‘full manic episode’, although they will sometimes show symptoms of ‘high energy and impulsiveness’.

It is so hard to keep up with fads these days!

I was just starting to wrap my mind around the whole bath salts phenomenon, when I learned about “the growing and disturbing [drug] trend” amongst teens: FLOWERS. According to a CBS News report, a hallucinogenic high is achieved by smoking, snorting, eating or drinking the roots, leaves, seeds and flowers of any plant in the Datura family.

These potentially deadly plants, which are in season in the summer, grow almost everywhere and are highly toxic. Says an anonymous teen about his Datura trip.
