28-year-old Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, as proven by the promo for his latest career venture, but the man sure does love the ladies. Recently, he admitted his admiration for Kim Kardashian and wants to follow her lead. Lochte has even trademarked his famous catchphrase, “Jeah” and plans on using it copiously throughout his reality television series on E! network.
According to Swim Swam, after the show airs on April 21st Lochte is relocating to California in August for swim training and to be closer to the entertainment industry. Seen here, Ryan Lochte smiles wide at the LAX Airport in Los Angeles on April 17th. Ryan is looking fly in his black leather jacket, black jeans, and a tan colored v-neck tee. This goofy bastard may be somewhat of an airhead, but dude sure does have a killer smile and body.
A Boston University graduate student was identified today as the third person to die from the terrorist bombing at the Boston marathon. The two other fatalities from the attack were identified earlier today as a boy and a young woman. More than 170 were indued in the terrorist attack.
As we try and wrap out head around this horrific attack (FYI TV new media, I don’t need to see video of the bombs going off on a loop), reflections of what an amazing event the Boston marathon is and represents are being shared.
An essay Matt Damon wrote about the Boston Marathon last month (March 13, 2013) has taken on a new poignancy following the bombing horror at the famed Massachusetts race on Monday.
Here is an excerpt of the essay… Read More »
Olympic champion and the star What Would Ryan Lochte Do, Ryan Lochte, shares his thoughts on the ideal woman along with his love of swimming in this month’s Cosmo Guy. He also posed shirtless for the magazine, which should be a requirement for all of his interviews.
Here are some highlights from the interview.
Cosmo: What are we going to see you doing on your new show?
My biggest passion is swimming but it’s a sport that doesn’t really get talked about until the Olympics, unlike baseball, football, and basketball, which are on TV all the time. That’s one of the reasons I wanted to do this show. I want people to enjoy the sport as much as I do. My whole family swims! You can pretty much say chlorine runs in our veins.

The do look pretty similar actually.
Real Madrid footballer Cristiano Ronaldo met Gokmen Akdogan, a 23-year-old man who makes a living impersonating Ronaldo, in a strange and funny moment after a match on Tuesday in Istanbul, Yahoo reports:
Akdogan, who also plays semi-professionally for lower-league side Seyhanspor, makes it his business to dress like Ronaldo, have his hair cut like Ronaldo… and apparently he even takes his free-kicks like Ronaldo. And the facial similarity is there for all to see.

Does anyone else wonder how True Blood got such ridiculously hot people on it?
Just look at Ryan Kwanten! He’s just hanging out, watching a basketball game and giving us a smile that could launch a thousand ships. Who do we think has a better smile? Ryan or his True Blood co-star Alexander Skarsgard? Both are awesome. Both make me happy.
Think Ryan is enjoying the new bad guy that season six is bringing? Honestly, I can’t get enough of Ryan in his police officer costume. New rule: when Ryan leaves the house he’s either gotta be in costume or shirtless. Which one do you prefer? Read More »
On a daily basis, you, our readers let us know via comments on posts, on Twitter and on Facebook which celebrities you love and are passionate about.
Some celebrities are just that, celebrities. While others take their celebrity and put that to good use, by lending their name, time and money to causes and charities that are dear to their hearts. Those celebrities are the ones who really are near and dear to our hearts.
So we thought that it was time to ask our staff which charitable celebrities that they love the most. Each staff member submitted a celebrity for nomination, a photo of his-or-herself, and a blurb about why they chose the celebrity they did.
We want you to join in the fun as well and vote for your favorite of the celebrities we’ve chosen!
The poll will remain open for two weeks — until April 22 — and, at that time, the celebrity with the most votes will become Socialite Life’s de facto Celebrity Humanitarian of the Year!
Please take a minute to share your opinion by voting from the selections below and tell us who you love too! Vote now! Read More »
