Look everyone! Katie Holmes is acting again! And in a movie that actually sounds good.

Many folks can argue–and rightly so–that the last good movie Katie made was in 2005 when she played a supporting role in Thank You For Smoking. Quite frankly, I don’t think I’ve liked her in anything since Pieces of April, but that neither here or there. So it’s kind of exciting to see Katie making a movie that sounds good.

The mother of Suri Cruise was spotted on the set of Mania Days today getting cuddly with co-star, Luke Kirby. Katie and Luke play two manic depressives who meet in a psychiatric hospital and decide to start a relationship. Interesting.  Read More »

James Franco covers the new comedy issue of GQ because he stars in the upcoming This Is The End. Why are only Apatow people considered for comedy prime coverage? So now he’s a comedian too, in addition to being an actor, director, painter, poet, and academic…

He wrote the screenplay for and directed and stars in the upcoming Faulkner adaptation of As I Lay Dying which will screen in Cannes. A trailer was just released. Hard to say from this preview whether or not he’s been able to capture the multi-narrator perspective of the source material. Still, no one ever snarks on Franco about his talent as an actor or, for that matter, his talents related to film production in general.

You know it’s a good day when you’ve got shirtless Matt Smith shooting with Ryan Gosling. Thank you paparazzi gods. Thank you.

We spotted the Doctor Who star showing off his shirtless bod and shaved head yesterday on the set of his new movie, and now we’ve got even more! And this time he’s even more shirtless. Oh, AND! This time he’s hanging with Ryan Gosling.

Ryan has taken up the directing title for the new flick, How To Catch A Monster, and we are beyond stoked. While we’re not sure of Matt’s exact role in the film, we do know he had to cut his luscious locks and scream profanities at the camera. Check out Daily Mail for a video of that.  Read More »

After another life threatening incident, Jon Snow and Ygritte are really learning a lot about one another in a short amount of time. In this week’s episode of HBO’s Game Of Thrones, the wildlings begin their trek to Castle Black and Ygritte is amazed by a windmill which she mistakes for a castle. Jon Snow explains that his home of Winterfell will blow her mind, but that the wildlings don’t stand a chance in winning a war against the North, which has beaten them down six times in the past. Ygritte doesn’t believe him, but makes out with him anyway. And who wouldn’t?

Osha is getting very suspicious of Jojen and Meera, who keep telling Bran about his three eyed raven. Osha wants to take him to his brother Rob, but Jojen says they are headed towards the wall. Osha tells them about her zombie husband who was taken over by white walkers and tried to kill her and that the boys shouldn’t go anywhere near the wall. Talk about some next level insanity.
