It was a boy band extravaganza this morning on Today! The New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men all strutted their stuff this morning (May 31, 2013) on Today in New York City.

Taking turns performing with different segments, the music was definitely amazing. For people who loved the bands (and enjoyed the free price tag,) it seemed like a perfect Friday morning event. Every time a band took the stage the crowd roared with enthusiasm and it was almost hard to believe it was so early in the morning.

Selena Gomez drew a large crowd after at MuchMusic where she co-hosted NewMusicLive in Toronto, CA yesterday (May 30, 2013).

The 20-year-old Gomez showed off her toned abs in a belly baring white sweater and tweed pants with suspenders.

Selena will release her new album, Stars Dance, on July 23rd — just one day after her 21st birthday. The album is preceded by the lead single, ”Come & Get It,” which has peaked at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 to date.  Read More »

Darren Criss launched his Listen Up… tour last night (May 29, 2013) at the Fillmore in San Francisco.

During the tour’s first show, Darren debuted five new songs that may be featured on his forthcoming album: “Picture Perfect Girl,” “Pheromones,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Any of Those Things” and “Words.” Are Criss’ new tracks hits? Listen to them below.

With so much material at his disposal, he knew the tour was the right way to sift through it all and see what will make the cut for his 2013 release. “Instead of trying to make these calculated decisions of what people are going to like, what they’re not going to like and what they’re responding to, I was like, ‘Let’s just go on the road,’ ” he told MTV News. “It’s really a chance to test out that material; if something doesn’t work, it’ll be instantly noticeable.”  Read More »

How dare they! An overly excited fan slapped Beyonce‘s butt during a concert last night (May 27, 2013) in Copenhagen.

The singer threatened to have the man removed after being hit during a performance of “Irreplaceable” during her Mrs Carter Show (watch video below).
