Carrie Underwood Donates $1 Million To Red Cross For Oklahoma Tornado Relief

Singer Carrie Underwood gives big, thanks to her fans.

The Oklahoma State native has donated $1 million to the American Red Cross to help with relief efforts.

“I have watched the devastation in my home state of Oklahoma over the past several days with great sadness,” Underwood said in a statement. “With the help of my fans who attended my concerts over the past year, we can offer the Red Cross a little extra help in comforting those affected by the recent tornados.”

That is exactly what Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi‘s new home in Santa Barbara, CA is. The couple splurged on a mansion which includes nine fireplaces, six bedrooms and six bathrooms, sits on 13 acres of landscaped property.

At 10,522 square feet, the California real estate offers a rustic villa design and a pool that overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Ellen’s new house also has 18th-century Spanish gates at the entry and an antique statue from Venice. I’m thinking that Jensen Ackles is planning on expanding his family even more than he already is. Jensen’s wife Danneel Harris is expecting their first baby later this year.

The couple recently sold two homes, and purchased this gorgeous Malibu mansion for $4.8 million back in December.

The Mediterranean-style home was originally listed for $1 million more, and according to listing information, it underwent a massive remodel in 2004. The 4,698-square-foot pad has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, and it boasts ocean views on Point Dume and a lush backyard with a large pool.  Read More »

Supernatural star Jensen Ackles brought in $3.7 Million between the sales of two of his homes in Los Angeles. Well done!

Jensen sold his starter home in Studio City for $700,000, which he purchased for $645,000 as well as his home in Brentwood, CA for $3,000,000. Ackles and his wife, Danneel Harris, has purchased the home back in 2009 for $2,435,000.

The Brentwood home is a three-bedroom, three and a half-bathroom home. White-washed interiors and dark wood accents hearken back to the colonial Spanish architecture of the region. In the main living room, a vaulted ceiling accommodates a cozy library loft, while the spacious kitchen and dining room make space for entertaining.  Read More »

Actor Chris Evans just plunked down $3.52M for a recently renovated midcentury ranch in the Laurel Canyon neighborhood of the Hollywood Hills.

The 4,600-square-foot manse was purchased by a flipper in June for $1.9M. That owner completely renovated the three-bedroom pad, adding an updated kitchen, refinishing the floors, and generally gussying up the otherwise typical home.  Read More »
